Time to look at ‘where our treasure is (Matt 6:21), for there our hearts will be also.
Time to revisit our motives and priorities, what drives our praying and our giving?
Are we storing up ‘treasures on earth’, placing our souls in the wrong place?

    Prayer for the day
    For the ministers and staff in the Circuit, may they be able to take some time out for themselves and enjoy a change of rhythm over the next few weeks, so that as the new Connexional Year commences on 1st September they may feel a sense of rest, renewal, and relaxation from the constant and seemingly endless round of busyness.
