Circuit Year of Prayer 2017:

As part of the Year of Prayer initiative, during 2017 we will be holding events in each of the churches to encourage people to pray for the communities involved.  The next event is at The Welcome:

Wednesday 24th May, at The Welcome beginning at 7.30pm.  This session will begin the circuit’s involvement in ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ (Churches

Together in Alderley are also joining in this).  This is a national 24/7 prayer

initiative  supported by the Anglican and Methodist Churches running officially from  Ascension Day (25th May) to Pentecost (4th June).  We’re beginning on 24th May as it is also Wesley Day.  Further details of how we are intending to join in as a circuit into the 24/7 prayer will be available in the coming weeks but do join us at The Welcome to pray as a circuit for the people of Longridge, the Welcome Charity and The Welcome Church.
