At 3.30p.m. Alderley Edge Symphony Orchestra are holding their Christmas Concert at Alderley Edge Methodist Church. ‘Classics at Christmas’ includes a variety of music, plus an opportunity for the audience to join in with some carols. The Orchestra will be conducted by a BBC conductor, Edwina Wolstencroft, and the BBC North Staff Choir will also share in the programme. The proceeds of the event are being kindly given to the Church to pass on to our chosen charity , which on this occasion is ‘The Christie Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’.
