FEBRUARY UPDATE
“Time for the Future” Spire Appeal
We were delighted to receive news in February that we have secured a grant of £5,000 from Historic Churches of Cheshire.
To date, we have raised £16,500 from a variety of fundraising events, and we are due, shortly, to receive a second instalment of £12,500 from English Heritage.
Three contractors are currently tendering for the work, and the architects’ detailed plans of the project are now on display in the sanctuary. They are a work of art, and provide a unique insight into the scale of the project.
Many thanks to our Quiz-Master and the 8 valiant teams, who supported the “Big Quiz”, which raised a further £350.
We have some exciting events in the pipeline, so please make a note of the following dates
