1st Sunday of the month

10:00am 'Little Fishes' and 'Dolphins' (Activities for children 0-5yrs and 6-9 years) 'Seals' (10-14 years. During the main Service there will be no Children's Church, but instead children and young people can be part of 'Cross-eyed', when films and DVDs with a Christian message will be shown in our church Foyer.

SPECIAL MOTHERING SUNDAY SERVICE

Do make a note that the time of the Morning Service on Mothering Sunday, 14th March, has been changed.

Instead of having Little, Fishes, Dolphins, Seals at 10.00a.m., and the main congregation at 11.00a.m., we are merging both together so that we can all celebrate this special day at the same time.

So, come along at 10.30a.m. for a shortened Morning Service which will have things in it which the very little ones will be able to enjoy, and, in fact, there is something for everyone, right through to the oldest member.

Everyone is very welcome.

Dear Friends

What a winter we have had! Can you believe it’s still snowing? It has been such a cold winter, one of the coldest on record and then just when we begin to think spring has come as the snowdrops are flowering and the crocuses are beginning to bloom, the snow descends again! One positive note is that we are all certainly getting used to the bad weather. It is stopping fewer things from happening but it does make life quite difficult and maybe we should have been awarded the Winter Olympics rather than the summer ones planned for 2012 - our winter has been colder!

Dear Friends

Can it possibly be time to write again? Can it really be a month since our Christmas celebrations already? Doesn’t time fly when you are having fun. As I write we are concluding our celebrations of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity after a
wonderful service at St Philip’s and St James’. It was lovely to see Christians from across the village sharing in food, fellowship and worship together and bringing our hopes for 2010 to God.
