About Us

Previously...

The church was built at the site on Chapel Road in 1863, its clock-face being the only public one in the village at the time. It is a Grade II listed building and an established landmark in the village. The interior of the building was extensively transformed in the mid-nineties enabling more flexibility and diversity of use. It continues to host a vibrant worshipping community, and is used for a variety of other local events and activities.

...and now

We seek to make our worship stimulating, challenging and relevant to the needs of our congregations. We offer space for all ages to meet and explore faith in different ways. We demonstrate our faith through social action and share fellowship in house groups, in prayer and in regular social events. Alongside this, 'Saturday Coffee' offers time to meet the wider community on a more informal basis.

Prayer for the day
For the changing scene all around us as the leaves on the trees have virtually fallen, the gardens are lacking in much colour, and the allotments have yielded their harvest, yet despite the apparent lack of life as the trees and plants rest, there is still growth and colour as the winter plants and vegetables take their turn to show their own growing power.
